ANSWER: They are watertight and will be fine in the rain.
QUESTION: I relocated my tag about 12-15 inches from the original tail light wires. Do the wires in you product reach that far or farther if I hide to wires and rout them back?
ANSWER: The wires are only about 6 inches. You will need to run wires to them.

ANSWER: It doesn't matter which wire you use for the positive or the ground.

ANSWER: You wire them right into the existing license plate light wiring.
QUESTION: I bought some bolts off of e-bay where the lights point straight out and you can not see the tag very well. Is there any problems seeing the tag with these style bolts?
ANSWER: These point down right onto the tag and are specifically made for this purpose.

ANSWER: The license plate holes may have to be enlarged a bit depending on what state you are in. They replicate a 5/16" x 3/4" bolt.

ANSWER: anywhere that you would use 2 bolts to hold up you plate, you can use these lighted bolts.
